Planning is the key ingredient to claiming, owning and manifesting your dreams. When creating your plan or road-map to success focus on one goal-one dream and know whether you are branding yourself or your business then create an action plan to make that happen.
Unfortunately, planning is not like waving a wand and curing what ails you but it is a vital ingredient needed for success.
Here are a few guidelines to help you create your ACTION Plan:
Analyze: Which actions are completely necessary to achieve your goals and which are ‘should’ goals? For example, I ‘should’ lose weight. Make sure you really want to do the action.
Clarify: Create a visual picture of the expected outcome. How will it look/feel when you reach your goal? The clearer you are, the easier it will be to motivate yourself and attract the desired outcome.
Track: Regularly monitor and review your action list. Are you progressing through the steps? Are you stuck? What new information do you have? Set a date with yourself to review your list once a week and go through the steps of analyzing, organizing and pruning.
Identify: Know your barriers and know when to ask for help. Are you limited in time, money or perhaps you lack the right skills. Make a list of the all the people you know that you can ask for support. Now make a list of all the places you know where you could gain access to more support. You will be surprised at how just making that list will make you FEEL the support as you proceed with your goals.
Organize: Based on your desired outcome, decide on the order of your actions. Sort them into a sequence of ordered steps. Look for ways to simplify or delegate some tasks.
Not to do list: That’s right, create a not-to-do-list. You didn’t get into business to send letters or enter phone numbers into your computer. Think about the tasks that you don’t enjoy and that take you away from your clients and outsource them.
Once you are clear on your goals and the actions needed to reach your dreams, map out your marketing plans for the year using this handy marketing calendar.
